I consider myself to be a visual story-teller. As an artist, I seek the beauty in my subjects, whether people, places, or things. Looking beyond the obvious, I find their story and reveal it effectively.

I work in methods that have a vintage, moody, dreamier feeling to the finished work. My desire is to create in a classic style that transcends time.

Most of my artistic education has been self-taught. However, I also have benefited from workshops and courses I've attended with prominent fine art photographers. My involvement in art organizations has also provided me with a broad understanding of visual art and enabled artistic growth of my own work.

My choice of photographic technology is only a means to the finished picture. I use both digital and analog equipment, and a variety of development and editing methods to achieve the desired look and feeling.
